LEED & ESTIDAMA
Driven by our experience on sustainability and understanding the underlying issues on Green Buildings, Greenfield undertakes Green Building Certifications of buildings under LEED (USGBC) or ESTIDAMA Rating systems.
We are the Sustainability Consultants for the First Green Mosque in the whole of the Middle East and one of the very few in the world. We have also recently achieved the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for Command and Control Centre building of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) - Dubai.

Our strong background in MEP and building envelope design, coupled with our in-house energy modelling capabilities affords us the ability to guide successfully the design through the LEED or ESTIDAMA Certification process with maximum efficiency.
To-date we are handling a variety of LEED certifications projects, with a total BUA of 4.5 million square feet. They include several Towers at Jumeirah Lakes, International City and Jumeirah Village South.

LEED (USGBC) Certification for Existing Buildings
In addition to Green Building Certifications for new Buildings, we also undertake LEED Certifications for existing buildings under LEED vrs 4 O+M where the emphasis lies in the Operation and Maintenance of existing buildings. Using our combined knowledge on Sustainability and Energy Auditing and Energy Conservation we deal with a number of issues relevant to existing buildings such as:
- Location and transportation available to the occupants
- Sustainable sites
- Water efficiency
- Energy and atmosphere, including optimisation of energy consumption and commissioning of electro-mechanicalequipment at set intervals.
- Materials and resources used in the running of the building
